Commercial work is a different set of constraints from residential. Surfaces take heavier use, schedules are fixed, and the specification usually has to be repeatable across several rooms or several sites.

We handle countertops and cabinetry. We do not do tiling, plumbing or electrical work, so on a full fit-out we work as part of your contractor’s schedule rather than as principal.
Why quartz usually specifies well commercially
For a breakroom or reception counter, three properties matter more than looks.
Non-porous. Quartz needs no sealing, which means no maintenance schedule for a facilities team to own and no staining from coffee, ink or cleaning products.
Consistent. Because quartz is engineered rather than quarried, a specification is repeatable. If you are fitting out four breakrooms across two buildings, they will match. Natural stone cannot promise that — every slab differs.
Predictable to budget. From $50 per square foot installed for 3cm Tier 2, with tier pricing above that.
Where a reception area wants presence rather than uniformity, granite, marble or quartzite gives you a surface that reads as a genuine material. It needs periodic sealing, which is worth confirming someone will own.
Specification notes
Thickness. 3cm for anything with an unsupported span or a public-facing edge. 2cm is fine for short vanity runs, and pre-fabricated 2cm is economical where a standard size fits.
Edge profile. A straight or eased edge is standard and the most economical. Anything more profiled adds fabrication time — worth deciding at specification rather than at template.
Cabinetry. Birch boxes with soft-close doors and drawers as standard. In a breakroom that gets slammed shut fifty times a day, soft-close hardware is the difference between doors that last and doors that do not.

Frequently asked questions
Do you work to a contractor’s schedule?
Yes. Most of our commercial work sits within a larger fit-out. Give us the dates and the preceding trade and we will plan the template and install around them.
Can you match a specification across multiple sites?
With quartz, yes — it is manufactured to be consistent, so the same product specifies identically across sites. With natural stone, matching across sites is not something any supplier can honestly promise.
Do you quote from drawings?
We can give an indicative figure from drawings, but the firm number comes after on-site measurement, because the drawing and the built room are rarely identical.
What lead time should I allow?
Two to three weeks from template to installation. Build that into the schedule from the date the cabinets or substrate will be ready, not from the order date.
Do you handle the tiling and plumbing?
No. We do countertops and cabinetry only, and work alongside the trades handling the rest.
